The film, which opened on the same day as “Dunki,” accumulated ₹2.5 crore across all languages on its 17th day, maintaining its steady performance. As per reports from Sacnilk, “Animal” has garnered a staggering ₹531.34 crore domestically, exhibiting its immense popularity among audiences.

Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Ranvijay Singh Balbir in “Animal” has garnered widespread acclaim from Bollywood enthusiasts, drawing immense appreciation for his performance. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga disclosed in a conversation with India Today that Ranbir was his primary choice for the film from the outset. Vanga shared insights into the initial discussions with Ranbir, where a mere 10-15 minutes narration of the film’s essence prompted the actor to express interest and commit to the project.

“Ranbir [Kapoor] was my first choice for Animal, there was nobody else,” Vanga expressed, emphasizing the actor’s immediate affirmation based on the brief narration.

Reflecting on the film’s box office success, Vanga conveyed his initial expectations of the film performing well but admitted being surprised by the exceptional response. “Animal” has soared past the ₹800 crore mark globally, surpassing the director’s expectations. Despite varied critical reviews, the film’s box office performance has surpassed expectations, leaving Vanga delighted with the audience’s reception.
