Actor Vishal Aditya Singh recently addressed the viral controversy surrounding fake wedding photos with his close friend, actress Shweta Tiwari. The morphed images, which showed them as a married couple, sparked a social media frenzy, but Vishal remained unbothered, choosing to laugh off the whole episode.
In an interview with India Forums, Vishal candidly spoke about his reaction to the incident. He revealed that, upon seeing the photos, he found the situation “humorous.” He expressed that he had no need to explain his relationship with Shweta to anyone, as he and Shweta are well aware of their bond.
“I don’t need to explain my relationship with Shweta because people will think whatever they want to. Shweta and I know the truth about our bond, why should I care about others’ opinions?” Vishal remarked. He further added, “Everyone who knows us understands that I call her ‘mom’ and we share a great bond. These viral pictures don’t bother me, just make me laugh.”
The viral images depicted Shweta in bridal attire and Vishal standing as the groom, exchanging garlands, mimicking the wedding photos of actress Swara Bhasker and her husband, Fahad Ahmad. The faces of Shweta and Vishal were superimposed on Swara and Fahad’s images, leading to confusion among fans and followers.
This is not the first time rumors have swirled around the two actors due to their close relationship. They have often shared banter and playful posts on social media, which has led to speculation about their bond. However, Vishal has made it clear that such rumors do not bother him. He also explained that Shweta has been a significant part of his life, referring to her as ‘mom,’ and their relationship is one based on mutual respect and friendship.
Shweta Tiwari, a well-known actress, has had a tumultuous personal life. She was previously married to Raja Chaudhary, with whom she has a daughter, Palak Tiwari. After their divorce in 2007, Shweta married Abhinav Kohli in 2013, and they have a son, Reyansh. However, she filed a complaint against Abhinav in 2019, alleging domestic violence. On the other hand, Vishal was previously in a publicized relationship with actress Madhurima Tuli, with whom he had a bitter breakup after participating in the reality show Nach Baliye 9.
