It’s Instagram official! Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor has confirmed her relationship with Rahul Mody. The actor took to Instagram Stories to post a cute selfie with her boyfriend, marking a significant moment in their relationship.
In the picture, Shraddha and Rahul twinned in white and looked directly into the camera. Shraddha held Rahul’s arm and smiled warmly, while Rahul made a goofy expression. Adding a touch of romance to the post, Shraddha captioned the photo, “Dil rakh le, Neend toh vaapis de de yaar (Take away my heart, but at least return my sleep),” accompanied by smiley face and red heart emoticons.
Shraddha and Rahul have been dating for a few years. They first met on the sets of the film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, where Rahul worked as a writer. Their professional relationship soon blossomed into a romantic one.
The couple was first spotted together by paparazzi and fans in Jamnagar while attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. They were also photographed after a dinner outing in Mumbai last year. A source told the Hindustan Times that the couple was “shocked” at being photographed together, as they preferred to keep their relationship private.
In March this year, Shraddha added more fuel to the romance rumors by wearing a pendant with the initial ‘R’ on it. The actor’s recent Instagram post seems to have confirmed what fans and media have been speculating for a while.
On the professional front, Shraddha Kapoor is gearing up for her next release, Stree 2. The film will see her returning to the horror-comedy genre alongside Rajkummar Rao. The teaser for Stree 2 was released with Munjya last week. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Stree 2 is part of a broader horror-comedy universe that includes films like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The much-anticipated movie is set to release on August 15.
