In a recent interview with Times of India, actor Kushal Tandon officially confirmed his relationship with fellow actress Shivangi Joshi, stating, “I am definitely in love.” The 39-year-old actor, known for his work in various television dramas, shared that while their relationship is blossoming, he does not plan to marry Shivangi anytime soon.
Kushal revealed that he and his Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka co-star, who is 26, are taking their romance slow. “I am not getting married right now, but we are taking it very slow. My mother desperately wants to see me married, and if it’s up to her, she might get me married today itself,” he joked, expressing happiness in finding love.
This is the first time Kushal has publicly addressed the dating rumors that have surrounded him and Shivangi since their on-screen chemistry captured audience attention when the show premiered in July 2023. As their off-screen camaraderie became apparent, fans began speculating about a real-life relationship, leading to widespread curiosity.
Rumors of their romance were further fueled by a report from News18, which claimed that the two bonded well on set and were ready to make their relationship official. However, Kushal had previously dismissed engagement rumors on Instagram, humorously questioning the media’s authenticity in reporting his personal life.
Prior to his relationship with Shivangi, Kushal was known to have dated actress Gauahar Khan after they met on the reality show Bigg Boss; their relationship ended in 2014. Shivangi, on the other hand, was previously rumored to be dating her Balika Vadhu 2 co-star Randeep Rai, but she clarified that they were just friends.
