“Kareena Kapoor’s Thriller ‘The Buckingham Murders’ Set for Dual Release in Hindi and Hinglish”

Kareena Kapoor's Crime Thriller 'The Buckingham Murders' to Release in Hindi and Hinglish Versions

Kareena Kapoor’s highly anticipated crime mystery-thriller, The Buckingham Murders, is set to hit cinemas on September 13, 2024. The film, directed by Hansal Mehta, will be available in two distinct versions to cater to a broader audience: a Hinglish version and a Hindi dubbed version.

Dual Release Strategy

In a bid to maximize reach, the filmmakers have adopted a unique approach for the film’s release. The Hinglish version, a blend of Hindi and English, will be available on half of the screens, while the Hindi-dubbed version will occupy the remaining screens. This dual-release strategy is designed to ensure that the film is accessible to both audiences who prefer the original mix of languages and those who favor a purely Hindi dialogue.

The decision to offer two versions stems from the filmmakers’ intent to accommodate a diverse audience. The Hinglish version features a cast from the same region as the film’s setting, Buckinghamshire, which adds a layer of authenticity to the accents. However, to address potential challenges in understanding for some viewers, a Hindi version has been produced.

About the Film

The Buckingham Murders revolves around Kareena Kapoor’s character, a detective and mother grappling with the loss of her own child while investigating the murder of a young girl in Buckinghamshire. The film stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen in pivotal roles. The screenplay is penned by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker.

Produced by Mahana Films and TBM Films, and presented by Balaji Telefilms, the film is co-produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor, marking her debut as a producer.

Kareena Kapoor’s Future Projects

Following The Buckingham Murders, Kareena Kapoor is set to star in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns, alongside Ajay Devgn. Her last appearance was in the Netflix mystery-thriller Jaane Jaan, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

The Buckingham Murders will be exclusively released in cinemas tomorrow, promising a gripping narrative and an innovative viewing experience for audiences across India.
