In a symbolic gesture of devotion, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is currently in Ayodhya, immersing herself in spiritual activities leading up to the highly anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla at the newly-built Ram Temple on January 22. The multifaceted star shared glimpses of her profound experiences in the holy town on Sunday.
Draped in a resplendent golden silk saree, adorned with intricate gold jewelry, and sporting oversized sunglasses, Kangana Ranaut showcased her commitment to community service as she was seen sweeping the floors of a temple in Ayodhya. The actress, undeterred by the mob that surrounded her, participated in the cleaning drive, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of sacred places.
In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, Kangana’s traditional attire and sunglasses did not deter her from contributing to the cleanliness drive. She later expressed her thoughts, stating, “We came to the Hanuman temple for a cleaning drive. But as we were mobbed, we were not able to clean the temple premises as much as we wanted to. However, I would like to encourage everyone to keep our temples clean. Only building a temple won’t be enough; we must keep these places clean.”
The actress also participated in a yagya, sharing images of the sacred ritual alongside saints and sages. In a moment of serenity, Kangana sought blessings from saint Rambhadracharya, showcasing the spiritual significance of her visit to Ayodhya.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming event on January 22, Kangana Ranaut remarked, “Everyone is happy to welcome Shri Ram in Ayodhya Dham. Tomorrow the king of Ayodhya is coming to his home after a long exile. Come my Ram, come my Ram.”
Prior to her visit, Kangana highlighted the spiritual importance of Ayodhya, drawing parallels between the city and the Vatican for Christians. She expressed gratitude for the wisdom bestowed by Lord Ram, emphasizing that Ayodhya is not only significant for the country but holds reverence beyond its borders.
Kangana Ranaut, known for her versatility, was last seen in the film Tejas, portraying the role of an Air Force pilot. Her next project, Emergency, where she essays the character of late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, awaits its release date announcement.
As Kangana continues to embrace the spiritual essence of Ayodhya, her visit stands as a testament to the significance of the city in shaping cultural narratives and fostering a connection with India’s rich heritage.
