Noted South Indian actor Fahadh Faasil revealed that he was clinically diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 41. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting attention, behavior, and impulse control, commonly diagnosed in children but also affecting adults.
Fahadh Faasil shared this personal revelation while dedicating the Peace Valley Children’s Village at Kothamangalam on Sunday. The actor, known for his standout roles in films like Kumbalangi Nights, spoke candidly about his diagnosis. As he walked around the children’s village, he inquired with a doctor about the possibility of curing ADHD.
“He told me it can be easily cured if it is diagnosed at a young age. I asked whether it can be cured if it is diagnosed at the age of 41. I am clinically ADHD diagnosed,” said Fahadh Faasil.
This disclosure comes on the heels of his latest film, Aavesham, which released on April 11. The film has garnered widespread critical acclaim, with reviewers praising its direction, dynamic action sequences, stunning cinematography, captivating musical score, and overall technical prowess. Fahadh Faasil’s performance, alongside Sajin Gopu, has been particularly lauded.
