In a delightful throwback to their 2007 film Heyy Babyy, actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Fardeen Khan have rekindled their on-screen chemistry by recreating the film’s iconic dance steps. The trio added a modern twist by blending these moves with the new track “Hauli Hauli” from Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Khel Khel Mein.
The fun-filled reel, shared by Akshay Kumar on Instagram, showcases the actors’ energetic performance and celebrates their past collaboration while teasing their new project. Akshay captioned the video, “When Heyy Babyy meets Hauli Hauli. We had a blast doing this khel khel mein, now you guys create your reels with your friends on #HauliHauli, share with us and we’ll reshare the best ones. Khel Khel Mein releasing in cinemas on 15th August, 2024.”
The reel has quickly garnered attention from fans, with many praising the nostalgic nod and enthusiastic performances. Comments on the post included, “Craziest collab of 2024” and “Heyy Babyy trio.”
Earlier this month, the trailer for Khel Khel Mein was unveiled, featuring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, and Taapsee Pannu. The trailer introduces a plot centered around seven friends who gather for a dinner party and play a game that reveals hidden truths and secrets. The film, which promises a mix of comedy and drama, is set for release on August 15, 2024.
In addition to the trailer, a new romantic track titled “Duur Na Karin” was released. Sung by Vishal Mishra and Zahrah S Khan, and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, the song features Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor. Akshay shared the song on Instagram, calling it a reminder to cherish love.
The film’s first track is a Punjabi dance number featuring Akshay Kumar, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan. The party anthem, performed by Guru Randhawa, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and Neha Kakkar, includes a recreation of the famous Heyy Babyy steps, showcasing the actors in traditional outfits.
