Vijay’s latest blockbuster, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), which has been making waves in theatres since its release, is all set for its OTT debut. Netflix has announced that the film will be available for streaming starting October 3, with options in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Fans who missed its theatrical release have been eagerly awaiting its digital premiere.
In an Instagram post, Netflix India shared the news with a poster of the film, captioning it, “Ever seen a lion become a G.O.A.T?! Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T – The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on 3 October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi #TheGOATOnNetflix.”
GOAT stars Vijay in a dual role and is directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment, the film is a sci-fi action thriller that also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, and Prabhudeva in key roles. The movie was released worldwide in theatres on September 5 and has since enjoyed tremendous success at the box office.
According to reports, GOAT was made on an impressive budget of approximately ₹400 crore, making it one of the most expensive Tamil films ever produced. As of now, the movie has grossed over ₹452 crore globally, cementing its status as a major hit.
With the excitement surrounding its Netflix release, fans of Vijay, known as “Thalapathy,” can now enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes.
