As the much-anticipated release of Prabhas’ action-packed saga, “Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire,” draws near, the Telangana government has given the green light for special showings and ticket price increases to accommodate the immense fan fervor and overwhelming demand for tickets.

Scheduled for its theatrical debut on December 22, the film has already created a sensation in advance bookings, selling a staggering 6,78,292 tickets and accumulating an impressive ₹14.88 crore for its opening day collections.

In response to the extraordinary demand, Mythri Movie Distributors received approval from the Telangana government for additional screenings, benefit shows, and ticket price hikes. The government’s notice allows for six shows starting at 4:00 am on December 22, catering specifically to the excitement surrounding “Salaar.” Moreover, ticket prices will see an increase of Rs. 65/- for single-screen theaters and Rs. 100/- for multiplexes from December 22 to December 28 across the state.

The government has also sanctioned the film’s screening as a benefit show at several prominent theaters in Hyderabad, commencing from 1:00 am on December 22, enhancing the grandeur of the film’s release.

The tremendous buzz around “Salaar” stems not only from Prabhas’ massive fan following in Telangana but also from the precedent set by the monumental success of Prashanth Neel’s “KGF” in the Telugu states.

Adding to the anticipation, iconic filmmaker SS Rajamouli purchased the inaugural ticket for “Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire” in Hyderabad, marking a symbolic commencement to the film’s cinematic journey. Hombale Films shared this special moment featuring Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Rajamouli, underscoring the film’s significance.

Beyond Prabhas’ star power, “Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire” boasts a narrative centered around friendship, with superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran playing a pivotal role. Expressing his excitement, Prithviraj shared insights into the unexpected nature of the film, emphasizing the intriguing storytelling by director Prashanth Neel, known for the “KGF” series.

Confirming the film’s sequel, director Prashanth Neel described “Salaar” as a story of friends-turned-foes, with friendship serving as the cornerstone emotion. The film is set to unveil the first chapter, with a promise of an enthralling continuation in subsequent installments.

Alongside Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the movie features a stellar ensemble cast including Shruti Hassan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in significant roles.

With the government’s nod for special screenings and heightened ticket prices, “Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire” gears up for an exhilarating theatrical run, poised to captivate audiences with its narrative depth and star-studded performances.
