Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 10: Akshay Kumar's Film Nears Rs 100 Crore Mark

Sky Force, the action-packed drama starring Akshay Kumar, is fast approaching the prestigious Rs 100-crore mark at the domestic box office. On its 10th day, the film raked in Rs 5.25 crore, bringing its total collection to Rs 99.75 crore, according to reports from Sacnilk. The movie registered a 25.84% occupancy rate on its second Sunday, indicating strong audience interest and favorable word of mouth.

Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, Sky Force marks the Bollywood debut of Veer Pahariya, who plays the role of T. Krishna Vijaya. The movie also stars Sara Ali Khan as Geeta Vijaya, Nimrat Kaur as Preeti Ahuja, and Akshay Kumar as Wing Commander Kumar. The film’s gripping narrative centers around India’s first airstrike, the Sargodha airbase attack during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani war, showcasing a historical and intense action sequence.

The movie’s success is also attributed to its strong performances, particularly from Pahariya, who sought advice from actress Janhvi Kapoor while preparing for his role. Pahariya praised Janhvi’s acting skills, especially her portrayal of a real character in the biographical film Gunjan Saxena.

Produced under the banners of Jio Studios, Maddock Films, and Leo Films UK Production, Sky Force has a stellar supporting cast including Sharad Kelkar, Mohit Chauhan, Manish Choudhary, and Varun Badola. The film, which was released on January 24, has resonated well with audiences, combining historical drama with high-octane action and emotional storytelling.

With its continued success at the box office, Sky Force is set to become one of the top earners of the year, further solidifying Akshay Kumar’s position as a leading actor in the industry. As the film approaches the Rs 100 crore milestone, industry watchers are eager to see how it performs in the coming weeks.
