Sheena, who has been married to Rohit for six years, opened up about their emotional journey leading to this moment. “It is the happiest phase for us! Long-awaited, after a few tough years where I was struggling with multiple health issues, and we both as a couple wanted to take our family forward, but jab hona hota hai tab hi hota hai. And it is no less than a miracle for us,” Sheena shared with joy.
The actress explained that she had been eager to share the good news with her followers from the very beginning. However, due to the challenges she faced during her first trimester, including constant vomiting and nausea, she had to wait until she felt better. “Of course, mujhe batana tha, but the first trimester tested me. With constant vomiting and nausea, I couldn’t even sit for long,” Sheena recalled.
While Sheena had planned to announce the pregnancy earlier, she and Rohit decided to wait until she felt a bit more comfortable. “I was tired of being isolated. I had stopped going out because I have a slightly bigger baby bump (laughs), so it became more obvious,” Sheena added. Despite the early announcement, she mentioned feeling confident in their decision, knowing that their family, friends, and fans would support them throughout the journey.
For Rohit, the moment he learned about Sheena’s pregnancy was an emotional one. “Sheena had left her last show Vanshaj in July last year, and our full focus was on having our baby. It did take time, as on January 22, we completed six years of marriage, and as we stepped into our seventh year, the desire for a baby was even stronger in our hearts,” Rohit shared.
As the couple enters this exciting new chapter of their lives, their well-wishers have showered them with love and blessings. Sheena and Rohit are eagerly looking forward to the arrival of their little one and are excited to embrace parenthood together.
