Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film ‘Jawan’ is making headlines for all the right reasons as it continues to dominate the box office, setting new records and surpassing its own achievements. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently shared the remarkable success story of ‘Jawan,’ which has left audiences and industry experts in awe.
The film, directed by Atlee, released on September 7, coinciding with Janmashtami, and it has been met with exceptional enthusiasm from fans and moviegoers. Shah Rukh Khan’s portrayal of a double role, as both a father and son, has received widespread acclaim. The film also features Nayanthara as the female lead, Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, and blockbuster special appearances by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
According to Taran Adarsh’s latest report, ‘Jawan’ has achieved a staggering milestone by crossing the ₹300 crore mark at the domestic box office within just six days of its release. The film’s total collection now stands at ₹306.58 crore, a feat that has left the industry awestruck. What’s more, ‘Jawan’ achieved this remarkable milestone a day earlier than Shah Rukh Khan’s previous film, ‘Pathaan,’ which was the fastest to reach ₹300 crore.
Taran Adarsh predicts that ‘Jawan’ is set to create a sensational record for Hindi films in its extended Week 1, describing it as “unprecedented” and “unimaginable.” The film’s earnings on its individual days have been consistently impressive, with Thursday collecting ₹65.50 crore, Friday ₹46.23 crore, Saturday ₹68.72 crore, Sunday ₹71.63 crore, Monday ₹30.50 crore, and Tuesday ₹24 crore.
In addition to its Hindi version, ‘Jawan’ has also made a significant impact with its Tamil and Telugu releases, contributing over ₹39 crore to its overall collection.
With ‘Jawan’ poised to break the fastest ₹350 crore record, it’s clear that Shah Rukh Khan’s film has set a new benchmark for success in the Hindi film industry. The star-studded cast and compelling storyline have resonated with audiences, making ‘Jawan’ one of the most talked-about and celebrated releases of the year.
