Competing fiercely for the prestigious title, the film faces tough contenders such as “Anatomy of a Fall” (France), “Concrete Utopia” (South Korea), “Fallen Leaves” (Finland), “Perfect Days” (Japan), “Radical” (Mexico), “Society of the Snow” (Spain), “The Taste of Things” (France), “The Teacher’s Lounge” (Germany), and “The Zone of Interest” (United Kingdom).

The Hollywood Creative Alliance, formerly known as the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society and later rebranded as the Hollywood Critics Association, rebranded its awards as The ASTRA Awards in 2023. The winners will be unveiled during a highly anticipated gala event slated for February 26, 2024, in Los Angeles.
“Jawan,” an Atlee directorial venture, not only starred Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara in pivotal roles but also featured Vijay Sethupathi and a special appearance by Deepika Padukone.
