Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has once again sparked dating rumours with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru after sharing a set of photos on Instagram that included candid moments with the director. The post, which promoted her first production venture Subham, featured a smiling selfie with Raj and another solo picture of him—raising eyebrows and prompting a wave of speculation from fans.
In the caption accompanying the pictures, Samantha wrote, “It’s been a long road, but here we are. New beginnings.” The choice of words coupled with the images led many fans to believe she may be hinting at a personal as well as professional fresh start.
This isn’t the first time the duo has triggered dating rumours. Earlier this year, on February 1, Samantha had shared photos from the World Pickleball League match where she was seen holding Raj Nidimoru’s hand. For context, Samantha owns the pickleball team “Chennai Super Champs.”
Raj Nidimoru, who is one half of the popular filmmaker duo Raj & DK, is known for his work on hit projects like The Family Man, Guns & Gulaabs, and Farzi. Samantha, on the other hand, recently starred in Citadel: Honey Bunny opposite Varun Dhawan on Prime Video and was last seen on the big screen in Kushi (2023) alongside Vijay Deverakonda.
