"Tiger 3: Salman Khan Starrer Registers Decline in Box Office Collections on Day 17"

Salman Khan’s high-octane thriller ‘Tiger 3’ continues its box office journey, marking a substantial decline in collections on its 17th day since release. The film, featuring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles, showcases a decrease in earnings, amassing around ₹2.25 crore on its third Tuesday in India.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ stormed into theaters on November 12, propelling the famed Tiger franchise forward. According to reports from Sacnilk.com, the film is projected to surpass the ₹276 crore mark in India by its third Tuesday, reflecting a significant achievement despite the observed drop in collections.

The box office trajectory of ‘Tiger 3’ unveils a detailed breakdown of its earnings, highlighting its performance over the past weeks. In its first week, the film amassed a total of ₹187.65 crore (Hindi: ₹183 crore; Telugu: ₹4.02 crore; Tamil: ₹63 lakh). Subsequently, the second week saw a collection of ₹67.22 crore (Hindi: ₹66 crore; Telugu: ₹75 lakh; Tamil: ₹47 lakh).

The daily earnings depicted a varying trend, with day 13 recording ₹3.81 crore, day 14 accruing ₹5.77 crore, day 15 raking in ₹6.75 crore, and day 16 witnessing ₹2.8 crore in collections across languages. On its 17th day, the film is estimated to accumulate ₹2.25 crore nett in India, contributing to a cumulative domestic collection of ₹276.25 crore.

‘Tiger 3’ not only features the powerhouse duo of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif but also incorporates Emraan Hashmi in a significant role. The film achieved a remarkable milestone by grossing ₹400.50 crore worldwide within just 10 days of its release, solidifying its place in the illustrious YRF Spy Universe alongside ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’.

Intriguingly, the movie showcases cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and a post-credit scene featuring Hrithik Roshan, enhancing the storyline’s depth. The film, akin to its predecessors ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, delves into a new mission involving RA&W agent Tiger (Salman) and ISI agent Zoya (Katrina).

The Tiger franchise, known for its adrenaline-pumping narratives, commenced with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ directed by Kabir Khan in 2012, followed by the 2017 sequel ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, both marking significant milestones in Bollywood’s action genre.
