"Salman Khan Opens Up on Box Office Failures, Focus on Saving Audience's Money Amidst 'Tiger 3' Success"

In a candid revelation, Bollywood icon Salman Khan recently delved into the box office performance of his previous ventures ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, attributing their underwhelming response to the prevailing circumstances in the theatrical landscape. The actor, currently riding high on the success of ‘Tiger 3′, reflected on the significance of ensuring affordability for audiences amidst his films’ commercial challenges.

Addressing the reception of ‘Antim’ and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, Salman Khan emphasized the prevailing reluctance of audiences to return to cinemas during their respective releases. He stated, “When these films were released, people were not going to theatres.” Khan highlighted the deliberate strategy of setting ‘popular prices’ instead of premium rates, aimed at safeguarding the audience’s finances. He remarked, “Our box office numbers were lower, but we focused on saving the audience’s money.”

Speaking about the cost aspect, Salman Khan reiterated the affordability factor maintained for these films, asserting that their ticket prices were kept under ₹250. He expressed pride in this approach, stating, “We earned less, but we saved the audiences’ money in that process. We did a good deed.” Khan expressed confidence that if ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ were to release now, its performance would surpass previous numbers due to the evolving audience trends.

While reveling in the success of ‘Tiger 3’, Salman Khan underscored the significance of experiencing failure, asserting its role in shaping a genuine sense of victory. The actor expressed that he does not truly taste success, emphasizing the necessity of encountering failure to emerge as a real winner.

Looking ahead, Salman Khan’s future projects include ‘The Bull’ and ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan’, the latter marking the next installment in the YRF Spy franchise, featuring a clash between Salman and Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Tiger Vs Pathaan’ is anticipated to be a high-stakes and much-anticipated cinematic spectacle.

As Salman Khan navigates the triumphs and challenges of Bollywood, his contemplation on box office dynamics and the enduring pursuit of authenticity amid success and failure continues to intrigue audiences and industry enthusiasts alike.
