Salman Khan and his sister, Arpita Khan, were spotted at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s residence on Sunday, celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. The visit was a highlight of the festive day, with Salman and Arpita gracing the pandal set up at Shinde’s Mumbai home.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde shared several photos of the special occasion on Instagram. The pictures capture Salman Khan dressed in a blue shirt and matching denim, respectfully folding his hands in front of the Ganesh idol. Another image shows Shinde presenting Salman and Arpita with bouquets of flowers and colorful scarves, a traditional gesture of welcome and respect.
Salman’s Ganesh Chaturthi Festivities
Earlier in the week, Salman Khan brought the festive spirit to his own home, where he and his family welcomed Lord Ganesha. On Monday, Salman posted a video of the Ganesh Visarjan, where he and his family bid farewell to the deity. The video featured Salman dancing joyfully with his family, including his sister Arpita and her husband Ayush Sharma, during the immersion ritual. The celebrations also included performances by other family members such as Sohail Khan’s sons Nirvaan and Yohan, Arbaaz Khan’s son Arhaan, and Alvira Agnihotri’s children.
