Ritu Rathee, wife of popular YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, widely known as “Flying Beast,” has addressed the ongoing rumors about their separation. In a candid video shared on Instagram titled “Divorce Reality Check,” Rathee spoke out against the speculation surrounding their marriage. The pilot and content creator, who has been married to Taneja for eight years, urged followers to stop villainizing her husband and stated that marriage is a private matter between two people.
In the video, Rathee said, “A small thing happened between a husband and wife. He thought he was right, I thought I was right. He became stubborn, and so did I. But does that mean that you will tell me what kind of man he was? I know that man inside out.” She expressed frustration with the gossip and defended her husband, adding, “I don’t need to hear from you whether he is genuine or loyal. I have seen him go through every situation.”
This response comes after Gaurav Taneja had earlier reacted to divorce rumours, stating, “men are made villains very fast,” which resonated with Rathee’s message. She criticized the public for assuming they know the full story of their relationship, condemning those who spread rumours online.
Rathee, who had quit social media a year ago, expressed her disappointment with how society treats personal issues, saying, “People who live in glass houses love to gossip about others.” She highlighted how society’s blame has shifted, “Earlier, when people lived in joint families, society blamed women for everything. Now the man is blamed if a couple separates.”
Addressing Viral Video with Spiritual Guru
In her post, Ritu Rathee also confirmed that she was the woman seen in a viral video with spiritual guru Premanand Govind Sharan. In the video, a woman, her face covered by a dupatta, was seen tearfully asking the guru for guidance, saying she had daughters and could not continue working forever. Rathee confirmed that she was indeed the woman in the video, further clarifying her situation amid public speculation.
Rathee and Gaurav Taneja have two daughters together, and Rathee mentioned the challenges of balancing motherhood and work, stating that she may need to step back from her career to prioritize her family. In her video, she concluded by emphasizing the need for privacy and understanding, asking her followers to refrain from gossiping about her personal life.
