In a stirring moment ahead of Republic Day, the team of the much-anticipated film “Operation Valentine” released the first single, a patriotic anthem titled “Vande Mataram,” at the Wagah Border. The launch event witnessed the presence of the film’s director, Shakti Pratap Singh, along with its lead actors, Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar.

“Vande Mataram” is a soul-stirring patriotic song that provides a glimpse into the world of “Operation Valentine,” where Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar essay the roles of Indian Air Force officers. The lyrics of the anthem pay homage to the indomitable spirit of the brave souls who selflessly dedicate themselves to protecting the nation.

Varun Tej, who plays the character of a pilot, shared the song on social media platforms in both Telugu and Hindi. The lyrical video showcases Varun and Manushi in their respective IAF officer avatars, offering audiences a sneak peek into the intensity and patriotism that the film promises. The composition of “Vande Mataram” is credited to Mickey J Meyer, with lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. Anurag Kulkarni lends his vocals for the Telugu version, while Sukhwinder Singh brings the Hindi rendition to life.

Ahead of the song’s launch, Varun Tej commenced the day with a visit to the iconic Golden Temple in Amritsar. Dressed in traditional attire, he sought blessings at the revered site and later engaged with the press, sharing insights into the significance of the upcoming song launch.

Manushi Chhillar had previously unveiled her first-look from “Operation Valentine” at a college fest in Mumbai, where a colossal cut-out of her character was displayed, standing six storeys tall.

“Operation Valentine” marks Varun Tej’s debut in Hindi cinema and Manushi Chhillar’s foray into Telugu films. The movie, shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, is scheduled for release on February 16, offering audiences a compelling narrative set against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force.

Interestingly, “Operation Valentine” shares the cinematic space with another Hindi film centered on the Indian Air Force, Siddharth Anand’s “Fighter,” starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, set to release on January 25. The two films are poised to offer audiences gripping tales of valor and patriotism, each with its unique perspective on the life and dedication of IAF officers.
