The highly anticipated Bollywood film, “Chandramukhi 2,” featuring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence in lead roles, has been making waves at the box office. The film, directed by P Vasu, had a promising start on its release day, earning ₹8.25 crore in India across multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Despite its impressive opening, “Chandramukhi 2” witnessed a decline in collections on its second day, with an estimated ₹4.50 crore in earnings. This brought the film’s total box office collection to over ₹12 crores in just two days.
The movie is the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil horror comedy “Chandramukhi,” which originally starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in lead roles. In this sequel, Kangana Ranaut plays the role of a talented dancer in the king’s court, known for her beauty and dancing skills, while Raghava Lawrence portrays King Vettaiyan Raja.
“Chandramukhi 2” is produced by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran and features a storyline that revolves around a mysterious mansion. The film’s trailer hinted at suspenseful elements, adding to the anticipation surrounding the movie.
Despite facing competition from other releases like “The Vaccine War” and “Fukrey 3,” “Chandramukhi 2” continues to attract audiences and remains a significant player at the box office.
Kangana Ranaut’s exceptional performance and the film’s engaging storyline have contributed to its success, making it one of the notable releases in the Indian film industry.
