Justin Bieber Lands in Mumbai for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Sangeet, Receives $10 Million for Performance

Justin Bieber Arrives in Mumbai for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Sangeet, to Perform for $10 Million

The wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have taken a star-studded turn with the arrival of international pop sensation Justin Bieber in Mumbai. Set to perform at the couple’s sangeet on Friday, Bieber’s presence has already created a buzz, with pictures and videos of his arrival circulating on social media. Reports suggest that the Ambani family is paying Bieber a staggering $10 million for his performance, as noted by Portuguese portal LeoDias.

In addition to Bieber, there are rumors that other renowned artists such as Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey might also be part of the celebrations. India Today reported that these artists are in talks with the Ambanis to perform at the grand wedding festivities taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.

The wedding, scheduled for July 12, promises to be a grand affair with a series of elaborate events. Recently, the Ambani family hosted a mameru ceremony, a Gujarati tradition where the bride’s maternal uncle presents her with sweets and gifts. The ceremony was attended by Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Purnima Dalal, Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, Isha Ambani, and Anand Piramal.

The Ambani residence was beautifully decorated with red, pink, and orange flowers, enhanced by golden lights. A digital screen featuring caricatures of Anant and Radhika added a personal touch to the decorations, with a message that read, “All the best.”

One of the highlights of the wedding festivities includes a chaat stall from the renowned Kashi Chaat Bhandaar in Varanasi. Last month, Nita Ambani visited Varanasi to seek blessings at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and personally invited the shop owner, Rakesh Keshari, after sampling various chaats at his establishment.

Furthermore, in a heartwarming gesture, Anant, Radhika, Mukesh, and Nita Ambani organized a mass wedding for the underprivileged on July 2 at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar.

The wedding invitation, which recently surfaced online, offers a glimpse into the meticulously planned events. The main ceremonies will kick off with the Shubh Vivah (wedding function) on July 12. Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional Indian attire to embrace the spirit of the occasion. The celebrations will continue with the Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday, July 13, and will conclude with the Mangal Utsav, or the wedding reception, on Sunday, July 14.
