Fans anticipate a major update from ‘War 2’ as Jr NTR’s birthday nears, with Hrithik Roshan fueling excitement through a mysterious tweet.
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has amped up the buzz around the highly anticipated action film War 2, which also stars South cinema sensation Jr NTR in his Hindi film debut. Hrithik, who will be sharing screen space with Jr NTR for the first time, shared a cryptic tweet on Friday that has fans speculating about a big reveal on May 20 — Jr NTR’s birthday.
Tagging Jr NTR, Hrithik wrote: “Hey @tarak9999, think you know what to expect on the 20th of May this year? Trust me you have NO idea what’s in store. Ready?” The tweet has led fans to believe that a teaser, poster, or special announcement related to War 2 might be dropped on the actor’s birthday.
The film, which also features Kiara Advani opposite Hrithik Roshan, is being touted as one of the biggest action spectacles in the YRF Spy Universe. Last year, Hrithik and Kiara were seen sharing glimpses from their shooting schedules, keeping fans engaged with behind-the-scenes updates.
Hrithik recently shared a stunning photo from the sets of War 2, captured by stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. In the image, the actor is seen standing with his back to the camera, soaking in the serene beauty of the Italian landscape, dressed casually in a white vest and striped pants. He captioned the post: “Taking it all in. #War2.” His girlfriend, Saba Azad, reacted with an affectionate comment: “My love” followed by heart emojis.
Regarding the film’s Italy schedule, a source had earlier told IANS: “When you have two of the most good-looking actors in the Indian film industry paired for the first time, you need to give audience songs that will present them in their hottest best. War 2 is going to do exactly that with Hrithik and Kiara as the two are headed to Italy to shoot a massively mounted romantic number that will be shot for around 6 days.”
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is expected to take forward the spy thriller franchise established by War (2019), which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The inclusion of Jr NTR has only raised expectations for the film’s scale and impact across pan-India audiences.
