The comedy-packed film “Fukrey 3,” featuring an ensemble cast including Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat, and Pankaj Tripathi, is proving to be a box office winner as it continues to charm audiences. After a strong start on Thursday, the film maintained its momentum on Friday, adding to its impressive collection.
According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk.com, “Fukrey 3” collected ₹7.5 crores on its second day in theaters. This brought its two-day total to an impressive ₹16.32 crores. The film initially kicked off on a partial holiday, Thursday, raking in ₹8.82 crores on its opening day.
Despite a slight decline on its second day, “Fukrey 3” is still performing exceptionally well compared to the two other films that released on the same day, Kangana Ranaut’s “Chandramukhi 2” and Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Vaccine War.”
“Fukrey 3” is the latest installment in the popular comedy franchise and has been eagerly anticipated by fans. Written by Vipul Vig and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. It marks the return of the beloved Fukrey gang after six years since “Fukrey Returns” and a decade since the original “Fukrey.”
The film’s release date had seen a series of shifts due to scheduling conflicts and delays in other projects. Initially set for September 7, it was later moved to December 1 and finally settled on September 28. Notably, Ali Fazal, who appeared in the first two installments, is not part of this third installment.
As “Fukrey 3” continues to entertain audiences and make its mark at the box office, the cast and crew can bask in the well-deserved success of their comedic creation.
In addition to the box office buzz, the film’s lead actor, Pulkit Samrat, received heartfelt praise from his girlfriend, Kriti Kharbanda. She took to Instagram to express her admiration for his performance, calling him “Heera” (diamond) and celebrating his dedication to the film.
In response, Pulkit Samrat showered Kriti with affection, expressing his gratitude for her unwavering support.
