Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, continues to make waves at the box office since its release on September 27, although its momentum has begun to wane. After a strong start, the film has experienced a notable decline in ticket sales during its second week.
On Day 13, Devara: Part 1 earned ₹3.75 crore, bringing its total collection to ₹257.15 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film saw a gradual drop in revenue, with ₹5 crore on its second Monday and ₹4.6 crore on Tuesday. The overall Telugu occupancy was reported at 19.03% on October 9, indicating a shift in audience interest.
Starring Jr NTR in a dual role as Devara and Varadha, and featuring Janhvi Kapoor as his love interest Thangam, the film also includes Saif Ali Khan as the villain Bhaira. The supporting cast boasts talented actors like Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, and Prakash Raj. Devara is the first installment of a two-part series, released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
On the day of its release, Jr NTR took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude to the film’s team and fans. He acknowledged the hard work of director Koratala Siva, music composer Anirudh, and the producers, Harikrishna Kosaraju and Sudhakar Mikkilineni.
