Actress Deepika Padukone and her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, made headlines as they returned to Mumbai after a vacation. However, their arrival was met with a bit of controversy as Deepika was captured pushing away a fan’s camera at the airport.
In a video shared on social media, Deepika can be seen wearing a baggy beige top, strategically concealing her five-month baby bump. Ranveer opted for an all-white casual look, sporting a T-shirt, shorts, sunglasses, and a cap. As they walked towards their car, a fan attempted to capture them on camera, prompting Deepika to push the lens away.
This gesture sparked mixed reactions on the internet. Some criticized Deepika’s action, labeling it as “shameful and terrible behavior,” while others defended her right to privacy during pregnancy. One user argued that Deepika’s gentle push of the camera was done in a playful manner, while another emphasized the importance of respecting her privacy.
Deepika and Ranveer are expecting their first child in September. The couple has been relatively private about their personal life, especially regarding Deepika’s pregnancy. Despite the public scrutiny, they continue to focus on their upcoming projects. Deepika is set to appear in films like “Kalki 2898 AD” and “Singham Again,” while Ranveer will also star in “Singham Again” alongside “Don 3.”
In a separate event later that day, Ranveer attended the launch of Tiffany & Co.’s store in Mumbai, showcasing his diamond wedding ring gifted by Deepika.
