Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are on the brink of two major life milestones: welcoming their first child and moving into their luxurious new home. According to a report by MoneyControl, the couple’s new sea-facing quadraplex in Bandra, Mumbai, is nearly complete. The property, which is situated near Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic residence, Mannat, is expected to be their new address after they become parents next month.
A Lavish New Home
Deepika and Ranveer’s new abode is an expansive sea-facing quadraplex that spans four floors of a building on Bandra Bandstand, covering the 16th to 19th floors. The home boasts 11,266 square feet of interior space, complemented by an additional 1,300 square feet of terrace space, offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea. The property, reportedly valued at over ₹100 crore, is set to be one of the most luxurious residences in the area. In addition to this, the couple also owns a ₹22 crore bungalow in Alibaug, which they purchased in 2021.
A Blossoming Relationship
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s relationship began on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 hit romantic drama Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela, where their on-screen chemistry blossomed into real-life romance. The couple continued to work together in several films, including Bhansali’s 2015 blockbuster Bajirao Mastani, Homi Adajania’s 2014 road movie Finding Fanny, Kabir Khan’s 2021 period sports drama 83, and most recently, Rohit Shetty’s 2022 comedy Cirkus.
The pair is set to reunite once again on the big screen in Shetty’s upcoming cop drama Singham Again, where Ranveer will reprise his role as Simmba, and Deepika will make her debut as officer Tara Shetty. The film, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff, is slated for a Diwali 2024 release.
Upcoming Projects and Parenthood
While Ranveer Singh has a busy lineup ahead with Aditya Dhar’s next action thriller and Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD earlier this year. The couple, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy in 2018, recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by releasing their wedding video on the premiere episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan season 8.
In September 2024, Deepika and Ranveer joyfully announced that they are expecting their first child, with Deepika often spotted in Mumbai proudly flaunting her baby bump. As they prepare to welcome their new addition, the couple is also looking forward to settling into their new home, marking a fresh chapter in their lives both personally and professionally.
