Bryan Adams Announces 5-City Indian Tour This December

Bryan Adams is set to rock India once again as he announces his much-anticipated return with the “So Happy It Hurts” world tour. The 64-year-old Canadian singer will visit five cities across the country, kicking off his tour on December 10 in Shillong and wrapping up on December 16 in Hyderabad.

Adams will also make stops in Gurugram (December 12), Mumbai (December 13), and Bengaluru (December 14), marking his sixth visit to India since his first tour in 1993-1994. His previous tours in the country took place in 2001, 2006, 2011, and 2018.

In a statement, Adams expressed his enthusiasm about returning to India, saying, “I’m incredibly excited to be coming back to India! There’s a unique connection I feel with the Indian audience. Your passion for music is truly inspiring, and I can’t wait to perform all your favorite songs – the old ones and some new ones too. This tour is a celebration of music that has connected people across generations. Get ready to rock!

Adams will perform a blend of his iconic hits and new tracks. Fans can look forward to hearing classics such as “Summer of ’69,” “Everything I Do I Do It For You,” “Please Forgive Me,” “Run to You,” and “18 Till I Die.” The setlist will also include music from his Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “So Happy It Hurts,” as well as his recent singles like “What If There Were No Sides At All” and songs from the film Office Race (2023).

During his last tour in India, Adams shared a poignant moment in Delhi, where he talked about his personal experiences with loss and his mother’s illness. Reflecting on the Indian culture, he mentioned, “I noticed a man and his father in the airplane. His father was quite old and I asked if he was taking care of his father. He said that he is coming to live with me now, and that is the Indian way.”
