Ashish Chanchlani Responds to Ranveer Allahbadia’s Post After India’s Got Latent Controversy, Jokes About Avoiding Humor

Ashish Chanchlani Reacts to Ranveer Allahbadia’s Post After India’s Got Latent Controversy

YouTuber and content creator Ashish Chanchlani has reacted to Ranveer Allahbadia’s return to social media following the backlash over his controversial comments on India’s Got Latent. Ranveer, who had taken a break from online platforms for nearly a month, posted an update on March 30, marking his comeback.

Ranveer Allahbadia’s Comeback Post

Ranveer shared a series of pictures on Instagram, including one with his podcast team and another with his pet dog. He captioned the post, “Thank you to my loved ones ❤️. Thank you, universe 🙏. A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…”

Ashish Chanchlani, who was a guest in the now-infamous episode alongside Apoorva Mukhija, left a humorous comment under the post. He wrote, “Love you, but next time you are meeting me, please don’t crack jokes near me.” His comment appears to be a subtle reference to the controversial question that sparked the backlash.

Ranveer’s Apology Video

Ranveer also posted a separate video in which he addressed the controversy, expressing gratitude to his supporters and reflecting on the difficult phase. He said,

“To all my supporters and well-wishers, thank you. Your positive messages helped me and my family a lot because this phase was extremely difficult. Facing open threats, social media hatred, and numerous media articles—it was overwhelming. But amidst all that, your messages supported us.”

Apoorva Mukhija also responded to this video with a supportive comment, writing, “LESSSSGOOO BIG BROTHER.”

The India’s Got Latent Controversy

The controversy erupted after Ranveer asked a contestant an inappropriate question during the show:

“Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?”

While the panel, which included Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Mukhija, and Samay Raina, laughed at the remark at the time, it was widely criticized on social media. Several politicians and users called out the show’s content, leading to multiple FIRs against the makers and participants.
