Arjun Kapoor has sparked speculation with a cryptic Instagram post amid rumours that he and longtime girlfriend Malaika Arora have ended their relationship. The couple, who made their relationship official in 2018 on Malaika’s 45th birthday, have been the subject of breakup rumours recently.
On Saturday, Arjun took to Instagram Stories to share a thought-provoking message: “We have two choices in life. We can be prisoners of our past or explorers of future possibilities.” This post comes a day after Malaika Arora’s manager denied the breakup rumours in a conversation with India Today, asserting that the claims were unfounded.
Malaika Arora’s manager dismissed the rumours, stating, “No no, all rumours.” Previously, Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan, with whom she has a son named Arhaan.
Despite the denial, a recent report by Pinkvilla suggested that the couple had indeed parted ways. A source quoted by Pinkvilla said, “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship.”
The source further elaborated, “They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. In professional news, Arjun Kapoor is set to appear as the antagonist in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Singham Again. The film features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. Singham Again, the third installment of the successful franchise, is scheduled for a theatrical release in August 2024. The previous films, Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014), were both declared box office hits.
