A luxury car belonging to Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was hit by a Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Wednesday. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
A video of the incident, showing the high-end car with a red BEST bus behind it, quickly went viral on social media. Sources confirmed that Aishwarya was not inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
According to officials, the bus, which had departed from the Juhu Depot, collided with the luxury car near megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s residence on Juhu Tara Road. While the car did not suffer significant damage, it was seen driving away shortly after the incident.
Tensions escalated when a security bouncer from a nearby bungalow came out and allegedly slapped the bus driver after the accident. The driver, who had stepped out to inspect the damage, later called the police control room. A police team arrived at the scene, following which the supervisory staff from the bungalow reportedly apologized to the bus driver.
The driver chose not to file a complaint, and no FIR was registered. After the issue was settled, the bus continued on its route towards Santacruz suburban station.
The incident has sparked discussions on social media, with netizens reacting to the viral video and the altercation that followed.
