“Aamir Khan Visits Suhani Bhatnagar’s Family in Faridabad After Dangal Co-Star’s Passing”

Actor Visits Faridabad Residence to Offer Condolences to Suhani's Parents

Renowned Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently visited the family of his late co-star, Suhani Bhatnagar, at their residence in Faridabad to pay his respects. Suhani, who portrayed Aamir’s daughter in the critically acclaimed film Dangal, tragically passed away due to dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory disease.

A photograph capturing Aamir Khan standing alongside Suhani’s grieving parents and other family members next to her framed picture has surfaced on social media. Suhani’s portrayal of a young Babita Phogat in Dangal left an indelible mark on audiences, contributing significantly to the film’s success.

Suhani had been undergoing treatment for dermatomyositis at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. Her mother, Pooja Bhatnagar, revealed that the symptoms of the disease began manifesting two months ago with swelling in Suhani’s left hand.

In an emotional interview with ANI, Suhani’s mother expressed gratitude towards Aamir Khan for his unwavering support and empathy during their difficult time. She disclosed that Aamir had maintained regular contact with Suhani and the family, extending his condolences upon learning of her illness and even inviting them to his daughter Ira Khan’s wedding.

“Aamir Sir always remained in touch with her. He is a nice person… He bonded with Suhani from the time he came to know her,” Pooja Bhatnagar shared with ANI.

Regrettably, the family couldn’t attend Ira Khan’s wedding due to Suhani’s ongoing recovery from a fracture. Despite their absence, Aamir Khan continued to extend his support and understanding.

Following the heartbreaking news of Suhani’s passing, Aamir Khan Productions expressed their condolences in a heartfelt note shared on social media. The production house remembered Suhani as a talented and integral part of the Dangal team, stating, “Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”
