Gal Gadot, known for her role as ‘Wonder Woman,’ did not attend the screening in person but faced backlash on social media for allegedly supporting genocide. The event, attended by around 200 people, including Israeli officials and Hollywood executives, had heavy security.
While Israeli authorities report over 1,400 casualties and 240 hostages in Gaza since the war’s onset a month ago, the Hamas-run health ministry claims a death toll exceeding 10,000, mostly civilians. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed concern, stating Gaza is becoming a “graveyard for children.” Israel vows to destroy Hamas, citing unprecedented attacks on civilians.
