Actor Vikram’s much-anticipated film Veera Dheera Sooran faced legal hurdles on its release day, leading to the cancellation of several shows across theaters. Reports suggest that the Delhi High Court intervened after B4U filed a petition against the film’s producer, Riya Shibu, over a contractual dispute related to its OTT rights.
Shows Cancelled Amid Legal Dispute
According to a Times Now report, Veera Dheera Sooran ran into legal trouble, resulting in early morning shows before 10 am being canceled across PVR and Cinepolis theaters. However, screenings were expected to resume in the afternoon following a court directive.

Sun News reported that the Delhi HC directed the film’s producer to deposit ₹7 crore immediately and submit all necessary documents within 48 hours. Additionally, 123Telugu reported that premiere shows of the film in the United States were also canceled due to the legal dispute.
