Tamil cinema’s popular stars Vishal and Sai Dhanshika have officially announced their wedding plans, confirming that they will get married on August 29, 2025. The couple, who have been private about their relationship, revealed the news during the press conference for the film Yogi Da held in Chennai on May 19.
Addressing the media, Sai Dhanshika explained that although she and Vishal have known each other for over 15 years, they only recently started dating. “We did not want to make the announcement at the press conference. However, a news report went viral earlier today. Initially, we wanted to keep our friendship in front of the media before the event, but after the report, we felt there was nothing to hide,” she told India Today.
Sai Dhanshika shared warm memories of her long-standing friendship with Vishal. “Whenever we met in the past, he treated me with due respect. When I was in deep trouble, he visited my home and raised his voice for me. No hero has ever done that before. It was a very sweet gesture from him,” she recalled.
Speaking about their relationship, Dhanshika said, “It was only recently that we started talking and felt it was leading somewhere. We mutually understood that we wanted to get married. I just want him to be happy. I love you, Vishal.”
Vishal also expressed his joy and confidence about their upcoming marriage. “My marriage is fixed. I have got a girl. Dhanshika’s father is here with his blessings. I am introducing her to everyone today. I want to, I would love to, and I am going to marry Dhanshika. She is a wonderful person,” he said.
The actor added, “God always saves the best for last. He has saved Dhanshika for me. We are going to lead a lovely life. I always think positively. We have a great understanding now and hope to maintain that forever. I trust her.”
Vishal also reassured fans that Sai Dhanshika will continue her acting career even after their marriage.
Vishal is known for his roles in Tamil hits such as Madha Gaja Raja, Aambala, Sandakozhi, and Mark Antony. Sai Dhanshika has earned acclaim for her performances in films like Peranmai, Solo, Paradesi, and Kabali.
