Actor Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah, has returned home after almost a month of being missing. Reports indicate that Singh had embarked on a spiritual journey and had left his worldly life behind.
According to a statement from the Delhi Police, Singh explained during interrogation that he had undertaken a religious quest and had visited several gurudwaras in cities like Amritsar and Ludhiana. However, he eventually decided to return home, leading to his safe arrival on Friday.
The police had launched an investigation into Singh’s disappearance, initially treating it as a case of kidnapping. However, after his return and statement, it became clear that Singh had voluntarily left for spiritual reasons and was not a victim of any crime.
Singh’s financial situation also came under scrutiny during the investigation. It was revealed that he had multiple bank accounts and was a frequent user of credit cards. He had withdrawn cash and used credit cards to manage his financial transactions.
In a recent interview, Singh’s father expressed surprise about his son’s financial activities, stating that he had been unaware of any financial difficulties. Singh’s return and clarification regarding his absence have brought relief to his family and fans.
The incident highlights the importance of communication and transparency, especially regarding personal and financial matters, within families. Singh’s spiritual journey, while initially causing concern, ended on a positive note with his safe return and clarification to the authorities.
