Stree 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 blockbuster, is now available for streaming on Prime Video India, following its successful theatrical run. Directed by Amar Kaushik and featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, the film has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in India, earning over ₹600 crore at the box office since its release on August 14, 2024.
For those who missed the opportunity to catch it in cinemas, Stree 2 can now be streamed by all Prime Video subscribers starting today, October 10. Although the film was previously available for rent at ₹349, allowing viewers to watch it for 48 hours, it is now accessible without any additional charges for subscribers.
The release of Stree 2 coincides with the streaming debuts of two other Bollywood films. Khel Khel Mein, featuring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu, also premiered on Netflix India today, while Nikkhil Advani’s action thriller Vedaa, starring John Abraham and Tamannaah Bhatia, is now available on ZEE5.
Stree 2 is part of Maddock Films’ horror comedy cinematic universe, which includes Bhediya and Munjya. Alongside the return of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film features Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi reprising their roles, with Tamannaah Bhatia joining the cast. Varun Dhawan also makes a cameo appearance as Bhediya.
