In a chilling turn of events, investigations into the death threats sent to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan have revealed that the prime accused, Raipur-based lawyer Faizan Khan, was tracking both the actor’s and his son Aryan Khan’s movements. The lawyer, who has been arrested in connection with the case, allegedly went to great lengths to gather sensitive information about the Khan family’s security arrangements and their whereabouts.
According to a new report by The Times of India, Faizan Khan, the prime suspect in the case, conducted thorough online searches to collect details about the family’s security protocols and movements. The investigation team found this information during a forensic analysis of a second mobile phone that belonged to Faizan. Through these searches, he reportedly tracked Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan’s movements, raising serious concerns about the safety and privacy of the actor and his family.
Faizan Khan has been in judicial custody since his arrest by the Mumbai Police on November 12. Initially, Khan denied any wrongdoing, claiming that his phone had been stolen and he was being framed. However, after further questioning, Faizan provided evasive and contradictory answers about the reasons behind his searches.
The case began on November 7, when Mumbai Police received an anonymous death threat directed at Shah Rukh Khan, along with a demand for an extortion payment of ₹50 lakh. The threat call was traced to Faizan Khan’s phone in Raipur, and the police promptly took action. Khan was arrested after initial investigations and was initially placed in police custody until November 18, after which he was moved to further judicial custody for two weeks.
Reports suggest that Faizan Khan had previously filed a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan, citing a controversial dialogue from the actor’s 1994 film Anjaam, which involved deer hunting. While this may have motivated Faizan’s actions, the investigation into the death threat case is still ongoing.
Shah Rukh Khan, along with his son Aryan, has been under Y-plus security cover provided by the Maharashtra government. Despite this, the tracking of their movements and the nature of the threat have raised serious concerns regarding the safety of the family, as authorities continue to investigate Faizan Khan’s motives and connections.
