The film, directed by the acclaimed Prashanth Neel, has propelled Prabhas into a league of his own, becoming the only South Indian star with three films in the esteemed ₹700 crore echelon.
Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan announced the monumental feat on X (formerly Twitter), expressing the film’s astounding stride as it surpassed the ₹700 crore gross mark worldwide. He lauded Prabhas as a “Global Star,” recognizing his unprecedented accomplishment in achieving this remarkable milestone.

While “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” stands as Prabhas’s highest-grossing film, amassing ₹1788.06 crore worldwide in 2017, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire” has swiftly ascended the ranks, showcasing phenomenal success comparable to the monumental Baahubali franchise.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” a sequel and prequel to “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015), featured an ensemble cast alongside Prabhas, including Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Subbaraju, setting a new benchmark in Indian cinema.
