Telugu superstar Ram Charan is diving headfirst into his next project, tentatively titled RC 16. Following his recent work on the highly anticipated film Game Changer, which is set for a Christmas release, Ram Charan took to Instagram to announce his new fitness regimen for the upcoming film directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
In his latest post, Ram Charan shared an intriguing photo of himself descending steps, with his back to the camera and fitness coach Shivoham Bhatt alongside him. The actor’s caption read, “Beast mode on #RC16 loading…” indicating a significant transformation is on the horizon, as he prepares to portray a character with a bulky physique.
The post garnered an enthusiastic response from fellow actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, his co-star in Rangasthalam, who commented, “Yasssssss,” accompanied by fire emojis, showing her support for his fitness journey.
RC 16 was officially launched in March in Hyderabad, with Ram Charan and actress Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The event saw the presence of Ram Charan’s father, the legendary megastar Chiranjeevi, who marked the occasion by holding the clapboard. Janhvi shared moments from the event on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the “special day” and “special beginnings,” showcasing her in a stunning sea green saree while Ram Charan donned a crisp white shirt.
This film marks Buchi Babu Sana’s second directorial venture, following the success of his debut film, Uppena, which won the National Award for Best Telugu-language Film. Buchi Babu has previously collaborated with renowned director Sukumar and served as a writer for Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam.
RC 16 is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, with presentations by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar. The musical score for the film will be composed by the acclaimed AR Rahman, with lyrics penned by Chandrabose, who is known for writing the Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu.”
