Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office, capturing the hearts of millions. Released on December 5, the action-packed drama shows no signs of slowing down. On its 14th day, the film earned ₹20.8 crore in India across all languages, as per reports by Sacnilk. With a Telugu occupancy rate of 20.58% on its second Wednesday, the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise has amassed an impressive total of ₹973.3 crore.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has not only won over audiences but is also breaking records across the Hindi film industry. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently revealed that the film’s Hindi version has already crossed ₹600 crore, marking a significant milestone. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), he stated, “Pushpa 2 is not out – next stop 700 crore. Pushpa 2 has shattered every record in sight and will soon dethrone Stree 2 as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.“
Taran Adarsh added, “With the Christmas and New Year holidays approaching, the film is expected to surpass the ₹700 crore mark and may even aim for the monumental ₹800 crore milestone.” Highlighting the film’s second-weekend figures, he shared: “[Week 2] Fri ₹27.50 cr, Sat ₹46.50 cr, Sun ₹54 cr, Mon ₹20.50 cr, Tue ₹19.50 cr. Total: ₹601.50 crore.“
Speaking at a success meet in Delhi, Allu Arjun addressed the film’s phenomenal performance. “The numbers are temporary, but the love I hold very close to my heart. I always say that records are made to be broken. Maybe for the next 2-3 months, I will enjoy all these records, but hopefully, by the summer, I would want all these records to be broken by the next film,” the actor said.
Pushpa 2: The Rule features an ensemble cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in pivotal roles. With the film steadily climbing towards ₹1,000 crore and poised to surpass Stree 2, Pushpa 2: The Rule is cementing itself as a landmark in Indian cinema history.
