The latest episode of Roadies Double Cross saw a dramatic moment when gang leader Prince Narula was accused of taking a bribe of ₹20 lakh to guarantee a contestant’s participation in the show. The new season, which airs on MTV India, has seen intense auditions as contestants try to secure a place in the coveted gangs of Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty, and Elvish Yadav.
The drama unfolded when a contestant, Dayali, alleged that Prince Narula and his wife, Yuvika, had asked for ₹20 lakh in exchange for securing a spot on the show. The accusation came to light after Rannvijay Singha, the host, reviewed Dayali’s file, which contained the claims. The contestant went on to say that someone had informed her that another participant, Siwet, only made it to Roadies after getting in touch with Yuvika for a “backdoor entry.”
In response, Prince Narula was visibly angered by the false claims and vehemently denied any wrongdoing. He clarified, “My brother has been auditioning for the past five years. He was never selected, and after last year, he stopped trying. I never told anyone to select him, he made it through on his own by giving auditions,” as reported by Times of India.
The allegations escalated when Dayali mentioned Yuvika’s name, prompting Prince to speak up even more forcefully. He stated, “Look, if it was just about me, I wouldn’t have said anything, but now you’ve mentioned my wife’s name.”
To clear the air, Siwet, who had participated in the show last year, was called in to provide clarification. He completely denied any bribery claims. Further investigation into the allegations revealed that the accusations were based on rumors, and the original source, Rakesh, also refuted the bribery claims.
In the aftermath, the contestant who had accused Prince and Yuvika of corruption was left in tears, as her allegations were proven to be false. Prince Narula, still upset, asked, “Do you think we are corrupt?” He added a sharp remark, “Tujhe lagta hai hum bikau hain?” (Do you think we are for sale?)
The incident concluded with Rannvijay Singha stepping in to caution the audience about the prevalence of scams and false claims in the entertainment industry.
