Prabhas Signs Three-Film Deal with KGF Producers, Kicking Off with 'Salaar Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam'

In an exciting move for fans and the Indian film industry, actor Prabhas has entered into a groundbreaking three-film deal with Hombale Films, the production house renowned for producing major blockbusters such as KGF 1, KGF 2, and Salaar Part 1—Ceasefire. The announcement was made on Friday, with Hombale Films revealing that the first project under this partnership will be Salaar Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam, directed by Prashanth Neel.

A Promising Partnership

Hombale Films, which made a huge mark with its recent successes, shared the news on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), expressing pride in partnering with the “Rebel Star” Prabhas. The production house emphasized that this collaboration aims to elevate Indian cinema on a global stage. “Made in India and Built to Last! #PrabhasXHombal3Films. We are proud to unite with the Rebel Star, #Prabhas, in a groundbreaking three-film partnership that celebrates the essence of Indian cinema and aims to take it to the world,” the tweet read.

Prabhas’ association with Hombale Films begins with the highly anticipated Salaar Part 2, the sequel to Salaar Part 1, which garnered attention for its intense action sequences and gripping narrative. The first part concluded with a dramatic cliffhanger involving Prabhas’ character, which has piqued curiosity about the sequel’s direction.

Looking Ahead

The collaboration with Hombale Films signifies a busy few years ahead for Prabhas. In addition to Salaar Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam, Prabhas has two more films lined up under this deal, though their titles and details are yet to be revealed. These films are expected to be released in 2026, 2027, and 2028, setting the stage for a series of high-profile releases.

Vijay Kiragandur, founder of Hombale Films, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “At Hombale, we believe in the power of storytelling that transcends borders. Aside from Salaar Part 2, Prabhas has a packed slate of films in various stages of production. He is currently working on The Raja Saab with director Maruthi, Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Fauji with Hanu Raghavapudi. Additionally, he is set to star in the highly anticipated sequel of Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin.
