“Mithun Chakraborty Declares Good Health Post Hospital Release”

Mithun Chakraborty Discharged from Hospital, Assures He's "Absolutely Fine" and Ready for Work

After a brief stint in a private hospital due to severe chest pain, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, 73, has been discharged and reassured fans that he’s “absolutely fine” and eager to resume his work in the film industry. Chakraborty’s hospitalization on February 10 had sparked concerns among his well-wishers, but his swift recovery has brought relief to many.

During his stay at the medical facility, Chakraborty underwent a series of clinical tests, including an MRI, to ensure his well-being. Following a review of his health condition by senior doctors and therapists, he was given the green light to leave the hospital on Monday afternoon.

Walking out of the hospital, Chakraborty expressed his gratitude for the concern shown towards him and provided reassurance about his health. “There is actually no problem, I am absolutely fine. I have to keep control of my food habits. Let’s see; I may start working soon, maybe tomorrow,” he stated confidently, indicating his readiness to dive back into his professional commitments.

Notably, Chakraborty disclosed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had personally reached out to him, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing his health. The actor humorously shared that he “got a scolding for not taking care of his health” from the Prime Minister, highlighting the concern shown by the political leader for his well-being.

Further demonstrating the outpouring of support, BJP MP Dilip Ghosh visited Chakraborty in the hospital earlier in the day, underscoring the widespread concern for the actor’s health across various circles.

With a career spanning decades and an impressive repertoire of over 350 films in multiple languages including Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Bhojpuri, and Tamil, Chakraborty’s contributions to the Indian film industry have been celebrated and honored. His accolades include the prestigious Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in the country, which underscores his significant impact on Indian cinema.

As Mithun Chakraborty embarks on his journey back to wellness and work, fans eagerly await his return to the silver screen, eager to witness more of his captivating performances that have defined his illustrious career.
