As per Sacnilk, the film opened with a modest ₹1.3 crore on Friday. It saw slight growth on Saturday, earning ₹1.7 crore, but dropped to ₹1.03 crore on Sunday. Despite a mixed-to-positive audience response, the film is struggling to gain strong momentum.
Competition with ‘Chhaava’
Mere Husband Ki Biwi is facing tough competition from Chhaava, the historical drama starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna. Chhaava, which has emerged as 2025’s biggest blockbuster so far, continues to dominate in its second week, collecting ₹36.68 crore on its second Sunday and pushing its total to ₹323.43 crore.
Director Mudassar Aziz on the Box Office Clash
Addressing the film’s clash with Chhaava, director Mudassar Aziz told Bollywood Hungama, “Sir, ‘Mera paigham mohabbat hai, jahan tak pahunche!’ What the film does in the presence or absence of Chhaava isn’t in my control. Putting my best foot forward to entertain people is the only thing that is in my control.”
