During the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Animal,’ Ranbir Kapoor received a heartwarming surprise from his father-in-law Mahesh Bhatt, who lauded him as the “world’s best father” to daughter Raha Kapoor.
In a touching moment captured during a recent episode of Indian Idol, where Ranbir Kapoor appeared with co-star Rashmika Mandanna to promote their upcoming release ‘Animal,’ a heartwarming surprise unfolded. Ranbir was taken aback when his father-in-law, Mahesh Bhatt, shared a special message dedicated to him and Alia Bhatt’s daughter, Raha Kapoor.
In a video circulating on social media across various fan pages, Mahesh Bhatt expressed his admiration for Ranbir, stating, “Alia, whom I consider a miracle, acknowledges Ranbir as one of the finest actors in our country. But I consider Ranbir the world’s best father! When he looks at Raha, Ranbir and Alia’s daughter, I wish you could witness the expression in his eyes at that moment. His mother, Neetu Kapoor, says that this kind of love is shown by mothers towards their daughters. I am proud to have a son-in-law like Ranbir.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in a private ceremony in April 2022, subsequently announcing their pregnancy in June. The couple joyfully welcomed their first child, daughter Raha, on November 6, 2022.
Meanwhile, ‘Animal’ generated significant buzz following the recent release of its trailer, hinting at Ranbir’s character’s intense persona shaped by a tumultuous upbringing. Portraying a protective and fervently devoted son, the film explores themes of paternal love and possessiveness. ‘Animal’ is slated for release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on December 1.
