Vicky Kaushal’s much-anticipated film Chhaava hit theatres today, and ahead of its release, the makers hosted a grand screening in Mumbai. The event was graced by Vicky’s wife, Bollywood star Katrina Kaif, who accompanied him as his plus one. The couple walked hand-in-hand at the event, posing for the paparazzi in elegant traditional attire—Vicky in a black bandhgala and Katrina in a floral saree.
A Family Affair at the Screening
The screening turned into a family affair as Vicky Kaushal’s parents, Veena and Sham Kaushal, also attended the event. His brother, Sunny Kaushal, was spotted along with his rumored girlfriend, actress Sharvari. Katrina Kaif’s sister, Isabelle Kaif, also marked her presence, making it a special night for the Kaushal family.
Katrina’s Reaction to Vicky’s Transformation
During a recent media interaction, Vicky Kaushal shared how Katrina Kaif reacted to his physical transformation for the film. “She was very happy—so much so that she misses Chhaava now. Every time a new poster of Chhaava releases, she likes it multiple times and comments, ‘Where has this gone?’” the actor joked, referring to his intense look for the role.
Vicky further revealed that Katrina is now eagerly waiting for his next film, Mahavatar, because of his beard-heavy look. He also appreciated his wife’s support during his rigorous training for Chhaava, explaining that she was extremely understanding of his demanding schedule. “When you are shooting non-stop—12 hours a day, with two hours of training before and two hours of action rehearsals after—you hardly have time at home. But Katrina, being a part of the industry, understands my work and was very kind and sweet,” he added.
