During an interview with Pinkvilla, Kartik revealed that director Anees Bazmee shot two alternate climaxes for the film, adding an element of intrigue and secrecy around the ending. “Yes, we shot two climaxes for this film so that there’s some confusion,” he explained. Kartik further shared that the final pages of the script were kept secret, with only five people—including himself—having access to the complete ending.
When Kartik was asked if Kiara would return for the third instalment, he accidentally let slip her name before quickly correcting himself. “When we were shooting with Kiara – oh, sorry – when we were shooting with Vidya ji,” he said, followed by laughter.
