A Tribute to the Showman
As part of IIFA’s Silver Jubilee celebration, Kareena paid homage to Raj Kapoor by recreating his signature step from the timeless classic “Mera Joota Hai Japani” while dressed in a suit, just like her grandfather. Another highlight of the night was Kareena’s energetic dance to “Jhoot Bole Kauva Kate”, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the event.
A Legacy Remembered
The tribute comes just months after the Kapoor family hosted a special film festival in December 2024 to commemorate Raj Kapoor’s birth centenary. Kareena attended the event alongside Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, and other Kapoor family members, celebrating the cinematic legacy of the legendary filmmaker-actor.
