In a thrilling update for “Mirzapur” fans, a bonus episode featuring Divyenndu Sharma, who plays the infamous Munna Bhaiya, is set to drop on Prime Video today, August 30. The announcement came with a promotional video shared on Instagram, heightening anticipation among the show’s dedicated followers.
The teaser promises more of the high-octane drama that fans have come to expect. “Bawaal hone wala hai, kyunki bonus episode aa raha hai,” translates to “There will be chaos because the bonus episode is coming,” setting the stage for what is expected to be an explosive return.
In the clip, Divyenndu Sharma, known for his charismatic portrayal of Munna Tripathi, addresses his absence from Season 3. He states, “Hum kya gaye, pura bawaal mach gaya. Suna hai humare loyal fans bohut miss kiye humko. Season 3 me kuch cheezein miss kiye aap. Wo hum khoj ke le aaye hain, just for you, Munna Tripathi ke suajanya se.” Translated, this means, “There has been a havoc ever since I went away. It seems my loyal fans really missed me a lot. There were certain things you all missed out on in Season 3. I have found them just for you, thanks to Munna Tripathi.”
The return of Munna Bhaiya is particularly notable given the dramatic twist in Season 2, where his character was killed off by Guddu Bhaiyya, played by Ali Fazal. Despite this, the bonus episode promises to deliver content that fans felt was missing from the recent season.
Divyenndu Sharma also shared an intriguing fan encounter from a shoot in Scotland, where he experienced the global reach of “Mirzapur.” He recounted an incident where a fan from Brazil called her sister on video call to show her the actor, underscoring the show’s extensive impact across various demographics and locations.
Season 3 of “Mirzapur,” which premiered on July 5, continued to showcase a star-studded cast including Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Isha Talwar. The bonus episode adds a new layer to the series, promising to deliver more of the gripping narrative that has captivated audiences worldwide.
